This FIRST YEAR Ford and Mercury Accessory was introduced about halfway through the production run of 1953 cars and is RARELY found today. This Power Steering Set-Up will also install perfectly on 1952 Ford and Mercury cars (same pitman arm,tie rods,etc. as 1953) and I have been told by 1949-51 Ford and Mercury car owners if you adjust the tie rods to this Drag Link you can use this unit on those cars also (check to be sure) and this Harmonic Balancer/Crank Pulley and Pump Bracket and Pump will install on 1949-51 Flathead 8's with no issues. Overall,a nice,clean unit composed of : Power Steering undercarriage Drag Link with good bushings,a nice Power Cylinder with new hoses,head mounted Power Steering Pump Bracket,Power Steering Pump & new Power Steering Pump Hoses,bolt-on NORS Power Steering ONLY three shiv Harmonic Balancer/Crank Pulley and the Hose Bracket & hardware. Everything is here except a belt from the pump pulley to the crank pulley. Upgrade your car and make driving (and parking it) much easier.
