This is an original vintage Special Instructions booklet issued by Southern Pacific Company for use with the railroad's employee timetable in effect at the time.   The front cover reads in part:
SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY - HOUSTON DIVISION SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS No. 4 - Effective Wednesday, January 1, 1969 At 12:01 A.M., Central Standard Time - These Instructions Constitute A Part Of The Timetable Currently In Effect
This is a booklet format of 20 pages measuring about 10.5" x 8.25”.
This special instruction booklet is fully complete and well intact with just some modest toning to the paper from age.  Overall condition is very good.
