21" antique Cloth Felt pressed mask face Gre- Poir Lenci type Doll

DESCRIPTION:
This auction is for a lovely antique Gre-Poir Doll in slightly "displayed" condition, 1927+. These dolls were made both in New York and Paris France.  Measures 21" tall she is all cloth felt with pressed mask face, disc jointed at the shoulders and legs with flat neck joint. There is stitching down the center of her torso, arms and legs, she has mitten type hands with individual thumbs, the fingers have stitching in between them, I believe she is stuffed with excelsior. There are two letters or numbers on the back of her head I have shown in my photo, possibly you can tell what they are, too faint for me to tell. Doll shows some overall wear and light staining in a few places, as mentioned she has been displayed, she
needs
a light overall cleaning, see photos.   A sweet little face with oil painted brown eyes, a white accent dot to the side of each pupil, note that there is grey along the upper part of the eye above the white (my reference tells me this is a trait of these dolls, see

from reference book please), painted lashes around her eyes, single stroke brown eye brows and closed molded mouth, rose color blushed cheeks. Her mohair wig has a few hairs out of place, shows overall wear but is still charming after all these years. Doll wears a white organdy dress, slip, undies, stockings and black Mary Jane shoes.  There is a lovely bonnet on her head. Her dress could use a button at the back.  Clothing is a bit worn and could use a little freshening up.  I have taken plenty of photos,
