For sale is a new Low Mount, CNC Machined, 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum
Alternator Bracket for a Big Block Ford with a 429-460 Motor using a GM Alternator and an aftermarket Electric Water Pump
. This bracket utilizes the original bolt holes in the head, block, and water pump flange. It positions the alternator below the head for clearance, and gives a much cleaner look. Very nice setup
This is the original mounting location on late 60's and early 70's Ford Mustangs & Torinos.
If you purchase our product, you will be getting the original design produced by our own engineering staff. This is not a copy of another shops work. We take pride in our products and design each one from the ground up. Because of this, we can offer product support that a "copy" shop cannot.
All Mounting Hardware is included:
Bolts are Grade 5 Zinc plated -
Spacers are 6061 Aluminum and Stainless Steel
7/16" Bolt with spacer to bolt bracket through alternator to head (requires drilling alternator boss from 3/8" to 7/16" diameter)
3/8" Bolt with spacer to bolt bracket to block
5/16" Bolt with spacer to bolt bracket through water pump flange into block
5/16" Bolt for belt adjuster
