5 Unique Antique ~5 1/2" Russian Soviet Union Stockinette Handmade Cloth Dolls

Description

Offered here are 5 unique antiquecloth dolls made in the former Soviet Union with very expressive painted faces andall cloth bodies.  Their clothes are faded and
dusty from age. Overall, the dolls are in fairto good condition.
The first doll is dressed as a Cossack in lightbrown corduroy pants, an ecru cotton peasant shirt, a red yarn sash, over-the-kneebrown boots, crocheted typical shoes, and a black felt Cossack hat.
The second doll, also a Cossack, has blond yarn hair andlarge expressive eyes is dressed in black wool knee pants, a cranberry with onepolka dots cotton shirt, a blue cord sash, crocheted typical Russian shoes, anda tall black “fur” Cossack hat.
The third doll iswearing, another Cossack, is has a wonder soulful painted face and is wearingblack wool knee pants, a red cotton tunic,
crochetedtypical Russian shoes,
and black velvet Cossack hat.
The fourth doll, a peasantwoman with a red yarn braid, is wearing a purple cotton skirt, an embroideredwhite peasant blouse, a white cotton apron with 1” lace at bottom,
crocheted typical Russian shoes,
and a red babushka.
The fifth doll is my favoritewith her smiling happy face!
