    Description

WARM White LED bulb for your Model A Ford, Model T Ford or other antique car. This has the BA15S base (meaning the pins are horizontally opposed; NOT staggered, with one single contact at the bottom) but, unlike most 1156 bulbs, this one:
Works on either 6 Volt or 12 volt, either positive or negative ground. Bulb is 6 to 24-volt, non polarized.
Has 6 forward firing and 7 side firing LEDs, each delivering 40-60 lumens, for a total of up to 360 Lumens (28 candlepower) (CP) from forward-firing LEDs (as used in the teacup tail light) and 300 lumens (23 candlepower) output in 360 degree illumination (mounted sideways in a fixture like in the 1928 drum tail light)
The above numbers are for the Cool White variety of this bulb. This Warm White (3000 Kelvin) bulb (the bulb being sold) produces 5 to 10% less brightness but gives that nostalgic incandescent warm glow while still being much brighter than the standard incandescent bulb. (Original model a taillight bulbs are 3 cp; Original model a brake light bulbs are 21 cp)
Looks great in tail lights, parking / running lights, cowl lights, dash and dome lights and deliver the correct color through your tail light lens.
Uses 90% less energy (just 0.1 amp (one tenth of one amp)) significantly reducing draw on the generator. I run these AND my LED headlight bulbs and literally left the lights on in my 6-volt Model A for 12 hours and the battery still started the car.
    No alternator required.
Very small: fits in tight bulb locations.
This listing is for ONE bulb.

NOTE about Turn Signals: When installing led bulbs in the turn signal circuit hyper flashing or erratic led lighting can occur. To eliminate hyper flashing replace flasher with an led compatible flasher or use led load equalizers.
