Art Deco Boudoir, Bed  Doll 1915- 1930 Original Clothes
This is a rare 27" boudoir doll made between 1915 and 1930.
It is an all original piece with
silk or satin dress - It looks more like silk.
The hair is blonde mohair and only on the front and the body is made of cloth and I think celluloid or composition.
Arms move and legs are firmly in place.
She is wearing the original outfit.
The clothing is a satin like pink material - probably silk
Condition is somewhat used with age (see photo close-ups) but does not smell.
The head is all intact and the face is hand painted and in remarkable condition for her age but the back of the neck has a few cracks in the paint alone.
The shoes are painted on.
The body is stuffed with what appears to be straw and is linen
The legs, feet, arms and hands are complete.
The stitching on the dress looks good.
All in all this is a presentable doll with much history, some wear and a story to tell
