Brass/Bronze United Firefighters Insurance Mark/Plaque

Here we have a brass or bronze Firefighters Insurance Mark. Back in the day, more in europe than over here. If you had insurance on your house/building, the insurance company would put a plaque/Mark on your wall. That way the firefighters would know that they would get paid to put out the fire and save the building. No Insurance Mark? They'd let it burn to the ground. I do not believe this to be an original.
