ELVIS "Welcome To My World" PLATNUM AWARD RECORD

ELVIS PRESLEY'S  "WELCOME TO MY WORLD"  was released just months before his death. It was truly one of - if not THE - most unique of his albums because every cut was a classic country song.   Two were written by Hank Williams,  two by Kris Kristofferson,  a Hank Cochran,  Don Gibson....and other country music giants.
"For The Good Times"  was every bit as good as Ray Price and  "Welcome to my World"  gave Eddie Arnold a go for his money.   The fact that the album was the last recording released in 1977 just before Elvis died - no doubt made it skyrocket in sales,  but it also made it iconic and collectible.
Difficult to see in the listing photos,  but the background is black velvet and is very beautiful.
A Certificate of Authenticity comes with.   A generic one depicting the original RCA order is automatically sent,  and if you message me with a specific name,  I will print a personalized Certificate of Authenticity  (COA)  and send it as well.
My father was the Music Row contractor who made GOLD & PLATINUM award records for the CMA,  ACM,  record labels,  artists and radio stations worldwide for 50 years.  He always made more than the original order and these ebay listings represent the "aftermarket"  awards still in boxes and never used or sent out to music industry VIP's.
