, with their typical super heavy-duty design. It is waterproof and appears virtually indestructible. These are incredible, bright IR flashlights, and are the best I could find for night vision equipment at this price!
Infrared light is invisible to the naked eye. Use infrared equipment to see the world in pitch black with infrared. This flashlight will light up your night vision and increase sight distance significantly. There is a dim red light if you look directly into the beam, which can be seen from afar if you are pointing at someone. It is quite subtle, especially if you aren't looking for it.
The lens cover can be adjusted to spread the beam, or screwed on all the way for a narrow focus. I get very good illumination to greater than 500 feet. This flashlight is a serious IR-torch!
If you want to see further with your night vision goggles, this is a must-have item! I have easily watched deer at 300 feet, and their eyes light up big time with this flashlight. If I am quiet and downwind they don't even know I'm there.
