Lovely 18" Lenci Felt Doll Original Outfit Paper Tag Early Series Mitten Hands

Antique Lenci Doll
Original Felt Clothes
This sweet old Lenci is a beautiful brown eyed blonde with side glancing eyes and
pouty expression.
Face paint is all original and still vivid, and her hair is in the original style with little curls surrounding her
lovely face.
Her body color is
very nice with little soiling noticed,
just a couple of pin dot size dark spots.
There are a few tiny holes on her dress, the biggest is near waist seam and hidden by her coat,
some overall fading that may be an easy fix with fabric dye,
and one missing
piece of fringe on the collar scarf.
As you can see upon close inspection, something
munched on the top layer of felt, her legs show it the most. No signs of this issue on her face.
The back of her underclothes has the original paper tag still attached. Looks to me as if it reads 150,
and something more but I cannot make it out.
She is wearing a felt dress, with matching coat, hat and shoes as well as her original cotton undies.
Despite the few flaws mentioned this doll is a wonderful, charming example that displays beautifully!
