Description:
The Night Vision Depot (NVD) Binocular Night Vision Device (BNVD) is a dual tube night vision goggle/monocular which offers outstanding depth perception and supportability at an affordable price. Never before could you utilize the depth perception of a collimated dual tube goggle and the convenience of a monocular in one system without switching equipment.
The BNVD can be used as a monocular by choosing which side you want to use as your night vision eye and rotate the other side/arm of the binocular up and out of the way. Each arm is tight enough so that the rotated arm will not fall down, but stay in its user adjusted position. To use as a binocular, rotate both sides down or when night vision is no longer needed, shut off and rotate both sides up and out of the way.
The BNVD is lightweight and can be worn comfortably for extended periods of time. When not in use and rotated upright it should not interfere with anything above the user’s head. This reduces risk of damage to the goggle and mount from rapid vehicle exits. With this flexibility there are endless possibilities and combinations.
The NVD-BNVD utilizes MIL SPEC accessories and optics. It includes head and helmet mounting options for the AN/PVS-7D, AN/PVS-14, AN/PVS-7A/C, AN/PVS-15 and AN/PVS-18. Optional ANVIS mount is available, however the BNVD is not approved for aviation use. Switching from one mounting system to another can be accomplished by the end user within minutes.
The NVD-BNVD utilizes MIL SPEC accessories and optics and is built with either Commercial, MIL GRADE or MIL SPEC ITT/Exelis GEN III Pinnacle Auto Gated image intensifier tubes.

EXPORT POLICY AND EXPORT RESTRICTIONS INFORMATION

• Export of GEN-3 night vision equipment from the United States without a valid export permit issued by the U.S. Department of State, Office of Defense Trade Controls is strictly prohibited.
• Generation 4, autogated/filmless technology is not available for export. Diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited.
Other Restrictions:
Restrictions on the use of night vision with a weapon vary from state to state. You are strongly advised to learn these laws and adhere to them. Night Vision Universe LLC will not be held responsible for unlawful usage.
