OOAK Antique Pair French Dolls / Hand Made Vintage-all original Costume Dress
Pair of Antique Vintage Cloth Dolls
From the original owner-who is from France.  These were made by her mother for her when she was a very small child.  Features traditional costume dress with a flapper cloche hat.  The dresses are made of a cotton print fabric, petticoat skirt, the stockings on the one doll appear to be silk thread wrapped around each leg.  I am not certain what type of material the head/face is made of-possibly old silk stockings (there is a bit a sheen to the fabric-that is what you see in some of the photos as it looks like white spots).   The detail of these traditional costumes are incredible.  Dolls are approximtely 6.5" tall.  Very nice vintage condition-a little dusty.
