RARE all original, antique cloth "Blossom" boudoir bed doll, real eyelashes Xlnt

Description

A rare and wonderful, 25" long, all cloth boudoir or bed doll by
Blossom Doll Company, New York, c.1930.
Originally dressed,
(see her pictured, October 2007, DOLLS-"Boudoir Dolls: Fad of the Roaring Twenties"-Musser) she has a lovely, cotton sateen,
swivel head
with lady-like features including painted
blue side-glancing eyes
and well
shaped eyelids
with good detail and charming,
long inset, real eyelashes
as well as mauve pink, eyeshadow and well painted eyebrows and exquisitely painted lips with dividing line and cheek blush. Her thick blond wig is hand sewn with waves and side-part and her all cloth body is stitched-jointed at the shoulders and hips with individually stitched fingers and long slender legs with shaped feet and original leatherette shoe and stockings. She wears her original gorgeous, two-piece, soft buttercup yellow, velveteen trouser French salon, artist suit with matching, fetching, French style
beret
and matching, velveteen bowtie. Her wonderful antique dog and other antique boudoir friends are
not included
and each is listed separately.
She is in very good condition with no dust, no fading (trousers and hat show some general age related dust, mostly at the back) and no odors as she is from a smoke free home.
