The Artist Sandra Baronne Belling's dolls are very hard to find

I purchased this beautiful lady I have from a collector.
It looks like she was in a museum
because she has a catalog number.
She is in very nice condition for her age.
Her clothing has no damage and is beautifully made.

    ABOUT THE ARTIST
This beautiful Doll was created by Baronne Sandra Belling circa the 1930’s.
She created dolls until the 1950’s.
Some of these dolls were sold through the Kimport catalog.
Baronne Belling was a Russian noblewoman who
was exiled to Syria after the Russian Revolution.
She began teaching Syrian women to create dolls
    representing their culture.
Some of her dolls had the stamps covered by
The Arouani Brothers. They were Syrian importers.
(Further reference to Baronne Belling and her work
can be found in the World Colors book by Susan Hedrick & Vilma Matchette.
There was also a great article on Belling dolls in Doll News )

I love all of my dolls and I take care in photographing them and shipping them to their new owners. My hope is, that the buyer of my dolls is as excited to receive my dolls, as I was when I purchased and owned them.
