    This is a gen 1+ Russian made night vision monocular, mounted to a US headset system with a J-hook and an IR designator. The designator isn't anything fancy, but it is BRIGHT. With this set up, I've had no difficulty marking targets from 100m +
    Having been issued PVS-14s in the Marine Corps, I can honestly say these are pretty good. No image intensifier, and the focal plane takes more adjustment, but other than that it feels about the same. These have never seen field use, they've mostly sat in my closet. As such, they're effectively like new with only some minor wear marks from larping ... I mean ...in-home training.
