Vintage Chalk Plaster Hand Painted 1871 Chicago Fire Sign Wall Hanging Plaque

This is a Wonderful Vintage Chalk/Plaster Chicago Fire Wall Hanging Plaque/Sign. It is in very good condition with wear commensurate with age and use. There are no chips or cracks. The sign is crafted of a chalk/plaster type material. It is designed as an 1871 fire engine being pulled by a black and white horse with a fireman at the reigns and another on the back heading to a fire. The plaque is beautifully hand painted and is made to resemble a wood look. It reads “1871 Chicago Fire” This plaque is heavy weighing over 5 pounds. This would make a wonderful addition to your fire memorabilia/collection or your home decor or it would even make a lovely vintage gift for a friend or loved one.
