FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VINTAGE "FIRE DEPARTMENT" FIRE FIGHTER 10" BY 3.5" HEAVY (OVER 8 OUNCES) PORCELAIN METAL LICENSE PLATE TOPPER SIGN. THIS SIGN HAS FANTASTIC GRAPHICS OF THE VERY NEAT AND SELDOM SEEN FIRE DEPT. I DID SOME RESEARCH ON THIS ITEM AND FOUND THAT ANOTHER SELLER SOLD THE SAME TOPPER AS AN ORIGINAL 1940'S TOPPER AS SEEN IN PICTURES 3. I A,M TOLD THAT THIS IS A HARD TO FIND PIECE AND I AM WILLING TO SELL IT FOR 9.99 OR BEST OFFER.
THIS LICENSE TOPPER SIGN DOES SHOW SOME LIGHT WEAR NEAR THE HOLES, BUT DISPLAYS VERY WELL AND IS MADE OF HEAVY PORCELAIN.

The estate sale that we purchased these signs from stated that these signs have been hung up in his collection for between 5 and 50 years making all of the
items
listed vintage. Please do your own research as vintage does not

Note: I was left with a large advertising collection along with some that I have collected over the years & I also attend high end estate sales in the area. I have decided to sell some of our rare and hard to find signs. We are selling these with no reserve on the price of the sign (meaning no minimum).
